Europe's second-top tribunal connected Wednesday rejected Meta Platforms' situation against EU antitrust regulators.
The European Commission had sought the accusation related to its probe into Facebook's information and online marketplace, prompting the institution to comparison the contention enforcer to a sportfishing ace trawler hoovering up data.
"The General Court finds that Meta Platforms Ireland has not successfully demonstrated that the petition to supply documents to beryllium identified by hunt presumption went beyond what was indispensable oregon that establishing a virtual information country failed to guarantee that delicate idiosyncratic information was sufficiently protected," the Luxembourg-based General Court said.
The cases are T-451/20 Meta Platforms Ireland v Commission & T-452/20 Meta Platforms Ireland v Commission.
