SEC asks for emergency order to freeze Binance US assets anywhere in the world

The Securities and Exchange Commission filed an exigency question successful Washington, D.C. national tribunal Tuesday evening, asking a justice to frost the assets of Binance's U.S. level and repatriate those held by customers connected Binance's U.S. trading platform.

The freezing bid lone applies Binance's 2 U.S. holding companies, not to the non-U.S. regulated planetary exchange.

The exigency restraining bid was necessary, the regulator argued, to "prevent the dissipation of disposable assets for immoderate judgment, fixed the Defendants' years of violative conduct, disregard of the laws of the United States."

The bid besides compels Binance's founder, Changpeng Zhao, to "show origin wherefore a preliminary injunction" against Zhao and his 2 holding companies "should not beryllium entered."
